Faith in Action
This group provides an opportunity for people to think about how religious faith can constructively engage with some of the big issues that confront our world. Many would say that Christians have become progressively isolated in their own 'bubble' of interpretation when it comes to matters that shape prevailing attitudes in society at large. If the Churches are to witness to God's creative and redemptive activity in the world, how might we critique society and deliver the liberative message of Jesus?
The group consists mostly of members at St. Laurence's Church but is open to anyone willing to take part in an honest discussion across a wide range of topics. It meets roughly every six to eight weeks on a weekday evening at 7.30 pm.
